We're Sprung!

My friend Amy and I sprung our kids from school to surprise them with lunch and vaccinations!

Woo hoo, vaccinations!

We had both received notices from school warning us that our oldest offspring would be suspended from school if we didn't get them updated with their vaccinations.

The kids had no idea that such a fate was in store for them.  They were feeling footloose and fancy free for the first two hours of their freedom.

First there was lunch.

Then ... we told them the truth.

Then ... there was weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth.

Then ... there was waiting and more crying.

Then ... there were shots and more crying.

Then ... there were hot pretzels and happy people.

I highly recommend the group vaccination plan for you and yours.

He taped his mouth shut so he couldn't cry during his shot.

We didn't realize that we sat across from this huge banner until Gracie said, "Hey, Mom.  Did you know that breast milk is the best milk?"
