Chompers

We stopped to visit a nature center and got to meet this huge turtle.

Chompers.

The nature center man, Mr. Farmer, took us outside and let the kids pick leaves to feed Chompers and his friend Jaws.  Then, he left us alone in a room with the two turtles with instructions to "close the door and turn off the lights when you are done."

We stayed for at least an hour.

My people drew pictures and showed them to the turtles.
